Hamas fired 7 rockets on the first day of Passover

At early hours in the morning the State of Israel woke up in fear and anxiety as a rocket was fired during the preparations for Passover (Pesach) one of the most important Jewish festivals.

To aggravate the existing political conflict, the terrorist group, fired 7 rockets in the Jewish villages near Gaza region. It seems like the intention was to disrupt the Passover celebrations. 

To alert the population, alarms were activated for the first time at 05:28 pm. Alarms were heard  in the Gaza Strip, in the western Negev, as well as Fetish and Renan seats near Ofakim. Correspondingly , similar explosion sounds were heard 10 minutes later also in Kibbutz Dorot in Shaar Hanegev regional council near Sderot. The IDF spokeswoman later said that seven surface-to-air rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip and exploded in air. Five of the rockets were launched towards the territory of Israel and two towards the sea in the territory of the Gaza Strip. No interceptions were made by IDF.

There was a clash on the Temple Mount between security forces and protesters who tried to barricade themselves in the Al-Aqsa Mosque. During the Seder night, two more rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip, but no alarm was raised. One of the rockets rich in the Gaza Strip and the other exploded in the border fence area, in the Eshkol Regional Council.
